With this project, we were given full creative freedom to brand a restaurant. I chose to use the restrictions of a location given to us by our instructor; remodeling the old McKinley High School on the East Central side of Spokane.
By researching the demographics of Spokane (more specifically the area and its surrounding businesses) I chose to create a bar & grill. The name “Ninety9 on the Wall” not only is appealing for its nostalgia, but the bar would have a combination of 99 classic and rotating brews available to its customers.
The existing building is made of brick, and with it being restored, it would sustain its historical charm while being slightly modernized.
