Event Marketing & Branding Project
For my “Event Marketing” project I chose a local event that is beneficial to a large percentage of our community.
Although the event is widely known, I felt that it had opportunity to tell a visual story by utilizing photography of actual snow sports gear.
The hand-made tag represents many key points in the storyline all at once. Of course, the tag is symbolizing that the gear is leaving one location, to go to another. The aged style of it represents the history of the ski swap, being that it has been an annual event for 53 years. The handmade quality of it gives a “gently used” feeling, as the gear is, itself, gently used.
